Hi I’m Craig Smith, owner of CS Rawhide and Leather.

I was born on a quarter horse operation in Montana before moving around to Nevada, then Oregon, and back to Montana. Most my life was spent in Elko, Nevada, where I was immersed in the center of the buckaroo culture. While starting colts for the family business, I picked up rawhide braiding and leatherwork from different guys I worked alongside.

Now based in Billings, Montana, I continue to build rawhide and leather traditional ranch gear for working cowboys and buckaroos.
